Course overview
This course is for students who already know the Arabic letters, whether they have just finished Noorani Qaida or learned years ago and want to fix their mistakes. You read directly from the Mushaf with your tutor following every word.
Tajweed is taught alongside reading rather than as a separate theory course. Each rule is introduced when it first appears in your recitation, practised until it becomes natural, and then reviewed regularly. The result is recitation that is both correct and confident.

- Fluent reading of the Quran from beginning to end
- Rules of noon sakinah and tanween: izhar, idgham, iqlab and ikhfa
- Rules of meem sakinah, qalqalah and the different types of madd
- Heavy and light letters (tafkheem and tarqeeq)
- Where to stop and start (waqf and ibtida) and the signs in the Mushaf
- Weekly revision with clear feedback on what to practise

How classes work
All classes are live, one-on-one video lessons on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. You choose the days and times, and we match you with a qualified male or female tutor. Lessons are taught in English, Urdu, Arabic, and digital learning materials are shared for practice between classes.
Quran Reading with Tajweed: common questions
Do I need to know Tajweed before joining?
No. Tajweed rules are taught step by step inside the course, starting with the basics.
How long does the course take?
Most students finish the full Quran in about 14 to 16 months. Attending more classes per week and practising daily shortens this.
I make a lot of mistakes. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Our tutors are patient and used to working with every level. Mistakes are simply what we work on together.
Can I choose a female tutor?
Yes. Male and female tutors are available, as well as Arab and non-Arab tutors.
