Course overview
Salah is the second pillar of Islam and the most regular act of worship in a Muslim's day. This course teaches it from the very beginning: purification, the positions of prayer and every recitation, with your tutor watching and correcting as you practise.
Students memorise the short surahs and supplications used in prayer with correct pronunciation, and learn what they mean so their salah becomes more focused. The pace is set entirely by the student, which makes this course ideal for children and for new Muslims.
What you will learn
- Wudu (ablution) step by step, and what breaks it
- Times of the five daily prayers and number of rak'ahs

How classes work
All classes are live, one-on-one video lessons on Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. You choose the days and times, and we match you with a qualified male or female tutor. Lessons are taught in English, Urdu, Arabic, and digital learning materials are shared for practice between classes.
